PROF. FRIDAY OKONOFUA, FAS
VICE CHANCELLOR, UNIMED
Professor Friday Okonofua, MD, PhD, ad eundem FRCOG, is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology. He is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons, the Nigerian Postgraduate Medical College, the International College of Surgeons, the International Health program at Harvard University, and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also has PhD in International Health from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a Fellow of both the Nigerian Academy of Science (FAS) as well as the New York Academy of Science.
Professor Okonofua is a champion of women’s health, a discipline where he has published more than 200 refereed articles. He is also a recipient of more than 40 research grants, and he is a member of several international organizations and committees, including the editorial board of the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he has served for more than 12 years. He is a reviewer to 20 international journals, and a technical consultant to many international agencies, including the World Health Organisation, the Macarthur Foundation and the Ford Foundation. » Readmore
PROF. ODUNAYO M. OLUWATOSIN
DEPUTY VICE-CHANCELLOR(ADMINISTRATION AND HEALTH SERVICES)
Odunayo M. Oluwatosin is a Professor of Surgery. He attended Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos and University of Ibadan. He is a Fellow of the Medical College of Surgeons (Nigeria) and of the West African College of Surgeons. He obtained the Certification of the Royal College of Surgeons, England (Plastic Surgery) in 1991; was President of the Nigerian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (2005-2007), Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, University of Ibadan (2006 – 2010) and President of Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria (2012 to 2016). » Readmore
PROF. AROGUNJO A. MUYIWA
DEPUTY VICE-CHANCELLOR (ACADEMIC)
Arogunjo, Adeseye Muyiwa obtained his BSc degree as the best graduating student in Physics from the University of Ilorin in 1991 and thereafter proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Radiation and Health Physics. In 2002, he bagged his PhD in Radiation and Health Physics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). He became a Professor in the Department of Physics at FUTA in 2010. » Readmore
MR. P.A. ADEKALU

Adekalu, Patrick Adeyinka attended the prestigious St. Joseph’s College Ondo and had his tertiary education at the former Ondo State University (now Ekiti State University) where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (History) Degree in 1987. He proceeded to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he bagged a Master’s Degree in International Relations in 1989. Mr. Adekalu joined the Federal University of Technology Akure in 2000 as an Administrative officer and rose to the position of Assistant Registrar before leaving for Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSSUSTECH) in 2009 where he was employed as a Senior Assistant Registrar. He spent six years at OSUSTECH and in 2015, he was appointed as a Deputy Registrar at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo. » Readmore
MR. ABRAHAM OLADIRAN FABUSUYI
ACTING BURSAR, UNIMED
Mr. Fabusuyi, Abraham Oladiran started his career as an Audit Clerk at Oladipo Ige & Co in 1983 and worked at three other reputable organizations between 1986 to 1989 before joining UNILAG Consult University of Lagos, Akoka as Higher Executive Officer (Accts) in 1995. He rose to the position of an Accountant at UNILAG Consult from where he joined The Federal University of Technology, Akure in May, 2005 as a Principal Accountant. He joined University of Medical Sciences Ondo in November 2015 as the Acting Bursar. Mr. Fabusuyi holds several academic and professional qualifications- MBA, Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Associate, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI) and a Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM).
MR. W. A. AKINFOLARIN
LIBRARIAN, UNIMED
Mr. William Abiodun Akinfolarin hails from Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State He holds a Bachelor of Library Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Master of Library Studies from the University of Ibadan. His career commenced at the Kashim Ibrahim Library, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from where he joined the services of the then Obafemi Awolowo University, Ado-Ekiti (now Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko) in 1983 as a Librarian II and rose to the position of University Librarian in 2005, a position he occupied till March 31, 2015. Aside from been a Principal Officer of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, he was also a member of the Governing Council of the University from 2009-2013. » Readmore
