Bakare Babatola (MBChB, FWACS) had both his primary and post-primary education between 1984 and 1994. He attended Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria from 1997 to 2004 where he obtained Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in June, 2004. He later proceeded to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex where he had his post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and became a Fellow of West African College of Surgeon in April 2012. He is a member of Nigerian Medical Association, Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Nigeria and Medical and Dental Consultant Association of Nigeria, Ondo State branch.
He has attended several local conferences in his area of interest and also annual scientific conferences of West African College of Surgeons outside the shore of Nigeria.
He has published several academic works in both local and international journals. His area of interest is Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (Assisted Reproduction).
