Dr. Falade is a passionate researcher and lecturer. He currently lectures in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of Fort Hare in South Africa with specialty in Enzyme Biotechnology and Molecular Enzymology. His current research focuses on the application of ligninolytic enzymes in bioremediation. He has an impressive number of publications in peer-reviewed international journals. He has also published a number of nucleotide sequences in the database of National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). Dr. Falade belongs to a number of professional bodies and learned societies including the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), South African Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SASBMB), South African Society for Microbiology (SASM) and American Society for Microbiology (ASM).
