Dr Felix O. Kumolalo was awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in year 2002 and the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeon in Paediatric Surgery in 2013.
He won the Scholarship of the Federal Government of Nigeria in his final year in the University and graduated on the merit list as one of the best 10 graduating students in his class.
As a Paediatric Surgeon, his interest lies in Neonatal and Minimal Access Paediatric Surgery which led him to further training courses in the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana and the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
A Senior Lecturer, he has publications in both local and international journals and serves as the Head of the department of Surgery of UNIMED and UNIMEDTHC since August 2020.
