Dr. Esosa Samuel Uhunmwangho is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, and Ag. Director, Central Research and Reference Laboratory, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria. He obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan and a PhD in Lipid Biochemistry 2015 from Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria. He has published extensively in many reputable international and Nigeria-based journals. His current research is focused on the Bioactive lipids in cancer and toxicology. He has successfully supervised many students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and functioned as External Examiner for undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nigerian Universities. A University scholar in his undergraduate years, Dr. Esosa Uhunmwangho is a member of several learned societies, including Nigerian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology. He was awarded the best research article of the year 2014 at the NSBMB annual conference in the University of Ilorin.
