I hold Ph.D. and Master of Science in Botany from the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a B.Sc. Hons. (Ed.) Degree in Biology of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
I specializes in Plant Physiology, Biochemisty and Biotechnology. My research interest focuses on nutritional improvement of staple crops (legumes, cereal and vegetables), plant metabolism, plants growth and development, plant tissue culture, plant response, tolerance, recovery and adaptation at molecular, biochemical and cell level from biotic and abiotic stress factors, omics (genomic, metabolomic, lipidomic and proteomic), gene editing, physiological and biochemical assays.
I'm an expertise in data analysis and analysis of large datasets, morphological and physiological phenotypic assays for stress tolerance, metabolites and pigments assays/analysis.
