You are welcome to the website of the youngest Faculty in the University. I am pleased to reveal that we support three centres and two institutes towards the realization of the aim and objectives of the Faculty. These are:

UNIMED commenced a strong collaboration with the West African Postgraduate Medical College (WACS and WACP) in the area of awarding PhD in the various clinical sciences to Fellows of the College. This Faculty provides the implementation platform for this laudable collaboration. Our postgraduate programme in sports science currently bridge the gap between elite sport and recreational physical activity to improve the health of the nation, through quality training, research and services.
Through research and training in herbal Medicine, the Faculty aim to be a leading centre of excellence in the promotion of quality and safe use of traditional medicines and herbs for quality health. We also leverage on our experience in research to bring low cost and accessible solutions to problems that ore of genetic origin. Our Centre for Health Professions and Biomedical Education fosters innovative approach in learning and teaching, advance research in health professional education as well as best practices in curriculum development and delivery.
