INVITATION TO TENDER

1.0.       PREAMBLE

University of Medical Sciences, Laje Road, Ondo City invites interested competent and reputable registered Contractors to apply for Tender and submit the required information as well as comply with all other pre-requisites of the Tender criteria as listed below for the following:

LOT 1:   INSTALLATION OF 500KVA 11/40 TRANSFORMER SUB-STATION AND

  MATERIALS FOR CONSTRUCTION.

LOT 2:  OUTSOURCING OF CLEANING SERVICES OF UNIMED HOSTELS.

Description:

i.                  ODOSIDA FEMALE HOSTEL 1 (UPSTAIRS) THREE BUILDINGS/68ROOMS

ii.                ODOSIDA 2; 16ROOMS UPSTAIRS, ONE BUILDING

LOT 3:  OUTSOURCING OF CLEAINING SERVICES OF UNIMED HOSTELS

Description:

i.                  ADEYEMI FEMALE HOSTEL 2, 90 ROOMS

ii.                ADEYEMI MALE HOSTEL 1, 80 ROOMS, TWO STOREY BUILDING, ONE UPSTAIRS

Description:

LOT4:   PALMGROOVE MALE & FEMALE HOSTEL, 22 ROOMS UPSTAIRS/ TWO BUILDINGS

Description:

  LOT5:    ONA ABAYO 1&2 (HOSTEL EDEN) 66 ROOMS.

Description:

  LOT 6:   BLESSING HOSTEL; 66 ROOMS AND ENVIRONS

2.0.      TENDER CRITERIA

Interested bidders are required to submit all the underlisted verifiable documents:

i.              Evidence of registration of company or business name with Corporate Affairs Commission (Certificate of Incorporation for Limited Liability Companies and Registration of Business names for Enterprises).

ii.        Articles and Memorandum of Association, form CAC07 i.e. particulars of Directors and Form CAC02 i.e. particulars of shareholders.

iii.              Copy of company Income Tax clearance Certificate.

iv.             Copy of Personal Income Tax – Clearance Certificates (of two Directors in case of limited liability companies of the proprietor(s)/partners in the care of enterprises, covering the last three years.

v.               Copy of VAT registration certificate and evidence of past remittances.

vi.         Company profile including list and resume of management and key professional staff and photocopies of their academic qualification certificates and evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies.

vii.      Verifiable documentary evidence of projects executed successfully in relevant sectors in the past five years (submission of the following documents would confer additional advantage i.e. copies of Letter of Contract Awards; Certificate of Completion; Partnership Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Foreign Companies, Organizations, Suppliers, Manufacturers etc).

viii.          Evidence of Financial capability (Reference Letter issued by Bank).

ix.       Name(s) and contact Address(es), email/telephone number(s) of designated company liaison with Ondo State Government.

x.                Company’s 3-year Financial Summary and 3-year audited Accounts.

xi.              Evidence of Compliance with Pension Reform Act, 2014 (Expires December, 2025)

xii.            Evidence of Registration with Insurance Training Fund (ITF).

xiii.          Copy of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Certificate (NSITF, 2025).

xiv.      A sworn affidavit indicating whether any current officer of the UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (UNIMED) is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the company.

xv.          Evidence of payment of non-refundable Tender fees of N10,000 per LOT made payable to:

3.0.      GENERAL INFORMATION

Interested Contractors should make payment to the Bank and present the teller to cash office, Bursary Department for onward processing before submission of the bids to the University as from 25th October, 2025.

4.0.     SUBMISSION

Each submission for Tender should be in a sealed envelope in duplicate and identified with the bid reference LOT number at the top left hand corner marked -TENDER FOR LOT (Specify the LOT). Each submission should be delivered and submitted into the TENDER’S BOX at the Office of the Vice Chancellor, UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, LAJE ROAD, ONDO, not later than 11am, Monday 3rd November, 2025.

The opening of bids will be 12 noon same day 3rd, November, 2025 at the Council Chamber, Laje Campus.
