This centre established following the recommendation of the National Universities Commission (NUC) is a beacon of innovation, where students and staff converges with entrepreneurial spirit to revolutionize healthcare.

At CEDI, our focus is to train UNIMED staff as well as students to be global innovators that will become job creators rather than job seekers.

We aim to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to develop innovative solutions to pressing healthcare challenges.

The centre has a state-of-the-art Innovation HUB facilities with relevant technological tools such as 3-D printer, Virtual Reality devices and other technological collections.

Goal: The goal of the centre is to institutionalize the development of medical entrepreneurship and innovation through technical training, teaching research, networking and advocacy, as well as collaboration with the private sector and government.
