INTERNAL/EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR VACANT SENIOR NON-TEACHING STAFF POSITIONS

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for immediate employment into the following Non-Teaching Staff positions in the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria.

DEPARTMENT: BURSARY

A.          JOB TITLE: Deputy Bursar (CONTISS 14)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Candidate must possess a B.Sc degree in Accounting or related discipline with at least Second Class (Lower Division) plus MBA or M.Sc. in relevant discipline from a recognized University. Candidate must be a full member of a recognized professional accounting body such as ICAN, ANAN, ACA, ACCA, ACMA and CPA and must have at least twelve (12) years cognate experience, three (3) of which must have been at a Semi Management Position (Chief Accountant) in a University or equivalent institution of higher learning, or an appropriate corporate organization.

B.           JOB TITLE: Principal Accountant (CONTISS 11)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Candidate must possess a B.Sc degree in Accounting with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized University, plus full professional qualification from a recognized accounting body such as ICAN, ANAN, ACA, ACCA, ACMA and CPA, with at least, six (6) years cognate experience in the University or an equivalent institution. Previous experience in audit is an added advantage.

Note: - Specifically, the candidate for the above-advertised positions is expected to be a person:

        i.            with good leadership qualities, who can inspire and motivate a crop of Officers and be able to get the best out of them;

      ii.            that appreciates and act on merit;

    iii.            who is focused and innovative;

     iv.            with excellent physical and mental health

       v.            Computer literacy is mandatory for all the positions.

SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES

Salaries and allowances are as obtainable in the Nigerian Public Universities.
