Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has directed that Professor Adolphus Odogun Loto takes charge of the administration of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, pending the assumption of office of the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe.

This development came on the heels of the expiration of tenure of the office of the second substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Adesegun Fatusi, on Sunday, 9th March, 2025.

Prof. Loto studied Dentistry at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos and he specialises in Restorative Dentistry.

He is a Fellow of West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). He is also a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
