The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo has partnered with the Canadian Education Council (CEC) to launch the ICC, a dedicated platform to equip students and alumni with global skills, hands-on experience, and workforce readiness.
Formalized on 19th January 2026, the ICC bridges academic learning with professional opportunities worldwide. Students can access mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, career coaching, and local & international internships. The Centre also prepares participants for the CEC International Employment License, a globally recognized credential for professional readiness.
The initiative includes staff development, equipping UNIMED career personnel with modern tools, strategies, and global best practices. CEC provides technical expertise, digital infrastructure, and benchmarking, while UNIMED ensures operational support and student engagement.
This partnership strengthens UNIMED’s institutional standing, enhances graduate employability, and modernizes career support for local and global competitiveness.
