Advancement

Welcome to the Advancement Unit of the University of Medical Sciences (Unimed), Ondo city, Nigeria.

The unit is one of the units under the Vice-Chancellor’s office. The unit became functional in March 2016 in tandern with mission and vision of the University.

The primary role of the unit is to source for funds for the development of the University.  

The functions of the unit are:

Ø  To generate new sources of funds from individuals and Cooperate Bodies both within and outside the country.

Ø  To oversee the planning of the University fundraising towards the improvement of the University.

Ø  To maintain relationship with the Alumni of the University, Donors and the community.

Since its inception, the unit has made tremendous contributions from individuals within and outside the community as well as Corporate bodies towards the growth of the University. These donors are regarded as friends of Unimed (FUF).
