Physical Planning

a)          The Physical Planning unit shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor in respect of the development of buildings and environments of the University in line with its approved Physical Master Plan.

b)          They shall organize the maintenance of all the physical structures, equipment and environment of the University.

c)          They shall also be responsible for the provision and maintenance of municipal services with respect to water, electricity, roads, transportation etc.

d)           They shall supervise the maintenance of the assets and equipment registers of the University.

e)           They shall organize the maintenance of departmental and faculty equipment and instruments.

f)           They shall be a member of the Tenders’ Committee of the Council.
