Iwaotan Akinwunmi was born into the family of Mr.& Mrs. Emmanuel Iwaotan at Ebute-Metta, Lagos. He is a native of Ode-Irele. He had his primary education at St. Peter’s Anglican Primary School, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos in 1992. He completed his secondary education in 1999 at Omole Grammar school, Ikeja Lagos. In 2006, he had a Diploma in SLT with Upper Credit from Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko Ondo State. In 2010, he had a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics & Electronics with Second Class Upper Division from Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko Ondo State.. In the same year, he also obtained a Diploma in Desktop Publishing & Information Technology with Distinction from FBA Computers School, Shagari Quarters, Kazaure Jigawa State.
In 2021, he had a Master of Technology degree in Communication Physics at The Federal University of Technology, Akure Ondo State. He is currently running his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics at The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). His hobbies are football, chess, mentoring and tutoring.
