Kabirat is a dedicated and passionate Biomedical Researcher committed to the field of Parasitology, Diagnostics and Therapeutics of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and Public Health. As a graduate of Zoology (Cell Biology and Genetics), she is equipped with in-depth knowledge of biology, cellular processes, molecular biology, genetic principles, parasitology and bioinformatics. Kabirat is skilled in microscopy, immunoassays, gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry and Bioinformatics. She prepares engaging lectures that foster active learning and critical thinking, which promote dynamic learning environment. In addition, she possesses good communication and language skills, effective classroom management, and has passion for teaching and excellent scientific research. She is currently a Research Fellow of the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID), which showcases her grantmanship skill. She is open to both national and international collaborations and opportunities to advanced techniques and skills in scientific research towards the complete eradication of debilitating and disease-causing pathogens in human.
