Dr. Stella Adegbehingbe graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. She had her post-graduate training at University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State. She is an Ophthalmologist; a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS, 2010); and, a Fellow of Medical College of Ophthalmology (2012). During her residency training, she got the prize for the best result in Part 1 examination of the West African College of Surgeons in Ophthalmology (2008). She was in India in 2015 for sub-specialization in Medical Retina. She also bagged a M. Tech Degree in Applied Parasitology from Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2020. She is passionate about academics and published articles in peer reviewed journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Ophthalmological Society of Nigeria.
